Digicel Upgrades Customer Service with Latest Technology

PORT MORESBY - Telecommunications Company, Digicel is upgrading its customer service, with the latest digital technology.

The first of several latest customer service devices were showcased at the launching of an outlet in Down Town Port Moresby on Tuesday.

Digicel Pacific’s Head of Retail, Damian Byrne said outlets around the country will be upgraded as well, and most user friendly devices will be delivered and installed where appropriate.

“We are undergoing a number of upgrades to each outlet depending on the location,” said Byrne.

Some of the items expected to be installed in shops include digital phone selector and top up kiosks.

Efficient Customer service is constantly being upgraded as well, with staff undergoing various trainings.

The team of people that we have is the best we have in the business. They’ve gone through extensive training over a number of causes mainly services based and related to demonstrate that product and provide better customer services,” said Byrne.

It was also added that most of the latest brands of phones, and other gadgets found in the recently opened shop will soon be sold in outlets around the country. [EMTV]
