Top Teams in PNG Darts Championship 2013

PORT MORESBY - With only three games remaining before the finals, this weekend's games will feature top of the table clashes at the Sports Inn in the National Capital District Darts Association.

The match of the round will feature Kumuns One and Lakatoi One in what is expected to be a fiery affair.
The game dubbed as 'tolai's vs papua's' is set to keep the spectators on their toes with their spectacular display of darts and ear aching chants and supports.

Kumuns chanting of "shaarkk yah, bai yu waswas" is sure to send nervous wavelengths to the opponents. While Lakatoi's chanting of "c'mon lakatoi, sail away" will be chanted to ensure the lakatoi sails away with the win. Both teams are equal in all departments and the game is sure to be played right down to the wire.

The boys from DOY or Duke of York after coming off a loss on the weekend will need to start the game on a high note in order to contain the Tubusereians from taking command led by anchorman Willie 'Doctor' Topur. He will need full support from his star studded line up of

Meli 'leaderman' Kurene, Jerry 'F' Potau, Chris Kulume, Mel Aela and Steven Moyap in order to topple the third placers.

The Tubusereia team are in red hot form and will look to maintain that by attempting to send the DOY boys back to the shack.

They will be led by captain Iubu Asi, Michael Rupa and youngster Danga Hai. Young Danga has been the mainstay for the Lakatoi boys having maintained his form since returning from the championships in Madang and performing exceptionally well recently.

In the other top of the table clash, PX One, currently second on the points table will lock horns with Lakatoi Two (fourth). The boys from Air Niugini will be look to fly over the sailing boys with Sinai Wamala, Chris Kafang and Vincent Laufa leading the way.

However, the boys from the outskirts of the capital city, will need captain, Duli Tabu to lead them. Their bid to cement a top four placing will be well supported by PNG's Singles Champion, Peter Raka. [PostCourier]
