PORT MORESBY - The NCD Football Association has kicked off its youth division playoff at the IPA Grounds in Port Moresby.
Morata Roots, Tarangau and FC Wantoks will have to prove their worth on field as the matches go right down to the wire.
These youngsters have known football and have come to prove their worth on field.
NCD Football Association sees this as a breeding ground for developing raw talent to push the code forward.
The Under 15 & 17 tournament has attracted like-minded youngsters to showcase their skills.
Three top teams including Morata Roots, FC Wantoks and competition leaders Bomana Tarangau FC have shown classy footy action to secure top spots in the Under 15 and Under 17 girls play offs.
Morata Roots have certainly made up their way turning every ball opportunity to a goal as often as they can. They were awarded three points from last weekend when they forfeited Simla FC.
In the U17 division, Morata forfeited Simla and booked a spot in the playoffs.
Competition leaders Tarangau sit comfortably on 25 points however they will need to put up a strong defense against Morata Roots and Tarangau.
It won’t be easy to find the back of the net, but all teams are sure to give a rowdy performance. [EMTV]
