Djorne Fong Wins 7th Consecutive Title

PORT MORESBY - It was a brotherly affair, as Djorne Fong won his 7th consecutive title, after defeating Nathan Fong 2- Nil, in the Moni Plus POM Billiards Championships.
Djorne beat women’s champion, Geua John, to take on his cousin Nathan.
Nathan edged out fellow PNG Representative, Arua Simon 2- 1 in the semifinals.
Players were awarded for their performance while Helen Samuel bagged the most outstanding player of the championships title.
Forty two players participated in the championships, in the best frames played over 25 minutes each. [EMTV]
