LUFA (EHP) - Digicel Foundation continues to roll out its community projects throughout the country.

To date, the Foundation has donated 69 double classrooms to Elementary Schools and 58 to Primary Schools throughout the country.

The Red Top Elementary School in the Lufa District of the Eastern Highlands Province was the most recent recipient of a double classroom.

Out of three elementary schools in the province, Red Top Primary school was chosen as it passed all requirements set by Digicel Foundation. The double classroom is fitted with solar panel kit. It also has a tuffa water tank and two toilets.

It took two weeks to complete the whole project. The facilities were then handed over to the Head Teacher of Redtop Elementary School Simon Koman.
